Our Story
Faith, hope and love — expressed in real life
“Remembering without ceasing your work of faith, labor of love, and patience of hope in our Lord Jesus Christ in the sight of our God and Father.” (1 Thessalonians 1:3)
We realize the importance of Faith, Hope and Love. These need to be expressed in our lives — not just believed in theory.
“And now abide faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love.” (1 Corinthians 13:13)

Live Truth
= Continuous Improvement
It's our work of faith — the practical part of living out what we believe. Though we may not do it perfectly at first, we strive for continuous improvement in everything.
“To continually strive to be more like Christ and do everything better.” (Ephesians 4:13)
Speak Truth
= Mentoring
It's our expression of the patience of hope we have in Jesus. We are called to be a voice of hope and encouragement, so we actively mentor people and speak life into them.
“We teach others what we have learned from God.” (Philippians 4:9)
Be Truth
= Community Involvement
It's our labor of love. We show the world what love is in tangible ways, outside the walls of our building — present in the needs and issues around us.
“We get involved and be present in the needs and issues around us.” (1 Peter 4:10)

Our Mission
The mission of the Church of the Nazarene is to make Christlike disciples in the nations. As a Great Commission church and a global community of faith, we are commissioned to take the good news of life in Jesus Christ to people everywhere and spread the message of scriptural holiness across the lands.
Our Community
The Church of the Nazarene bonds together individuals who have made Jesus Christ Lord of their lives. We share in Christian fellowship and seek to strengthen each other in faith development through worship, preaching, training, and service to others. We strive to express the compassion of Jesus Christ to all persons along with our personal commitment to Christlike living.
Our Calling
While our primary motive is to glorify God, we are also called to actively participate in His mission — reconciling the world to Himself. Our mission statement includes the historical essentials of evangelism, sanctification, discipleship, and compassion.
Our Essence
The essence of holiness is Christlikeness. Nazarenes are becoming a sent people — into homes, workplaces, communities, villages, cities, and countries. Missionaries are now sent from all regions of the world. God continues calling ordinary people to do extraordinary things made possible by the person of Jesus Christ.
